People over 30 should be dead

I’d seen this before, floating around the net, and should’ve linked to it then; but now is as good a time as any: People over 30 should be dead.

As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags.

Riding in the back of a pickup truck on a warm day was always a special treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle. Horrors!

We ate cupcakes, bread and butter, and drank soda pop with sugar in it, but we were never overweight because we were always outside playing. We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle, and no one actually died from this.

You have to go read it all. Love it! :)

no helments on bikes either, and not only THAT, but when we over-30s were kids, bell-bottoms were the norm. How many of us got our bell bottoms all wrapped up in our chains on our bikes and endoed? Jeez, i landed on my head so many times from that…

Hahahahaha I remember getting pantlegs caught in bike chains! Even without bell-bottoms… I guess chain guards in those days were unheard of. And helmets too, yes… fortunately, I never cracked my skull in any wrecks I ever experienced…

    …at least, not that I remember. 😉
