I’m really digging Food Network‘s new Iron Chef America series. It’s just a lot of fun to watch, and at a more accessible time than the original Iron Chef (9pm versus 11pm).

I’m digging it, too. Alton Brown is a great commentator. And it’s much better than when they used to have an Iron Chef America with William Shatner.
I did finally have to lookup and see what "Foie Gras" was, as it was mentioned the other night. The stuff’s expensive, that’s for sure (about $50/pound).
Mmmmmm… foie gras…
Yeah, I was trying to remember something about William Shatner hosting Iron Chef. I finally figured out it was on the "Iron Chef USA" program on some other network.
Shanter wasn’t on Food Network? Shows what I know….
Personally, I’d like to see a prime-time chef like Emeril go up against Bobby Flay and see how he holds up.
Nope apparently it was–go figure–UPN that "Iron Chef USA" with Shatner was on.
I think Emeril would hold his own. I don’t know about some of the other celebrities on Food Network though.
